The University of Chichester has been ranked 21st-best institution in the UK according to the latest rankings produced by the Guardian University Guide 2022
The University continued to climb the national league tables, having also been named in July as the 25th-best in this summer’s National Student Survey (NSS) based on high satisfaction rates among its students.
The University finished in seventh place for students satisfaction with teaching, and fifth-best in the country in the Education department ensuring an excellent performance across the Guardian league tables.

Fairtrade University Award
The University of Chichester was awarded the 2021 Fairtrade University award making it one of the 4 higher education that achieved Fairtrade University status this year. The prestigious award, which is now in its fourth year is delivered as a partnership between the National Union of Students, Students Organising for Sustainability (SOS-UK), and the Fairtrade Foundation. Chichester’s environmental and sustainability efforts also gained a one-star Fairtrade University status.
The award encourages students to influence the new generation of leaders with the ability to explore their understanding of the social and environmental impacts of their decisions.
